AfterNow Prez is an augmented reality (AR) presentation program that transforms any physical environment into an interactive stage by visualizing content at room scale. Users can incorporate images, videos, and 3D models, placing them freely in their physical space to create dynamic scenes with transitions and audio.

What Are We Solving For?
Traditional presentations are often seen as outdated and predictable, lacking the engagement needed to captivate modern audiences. Professional services require innovative methods to impress clients without sacrificing informative content. Additionally, creating custom AR presentations has typically been costly, limiting access to larger corporations. Our goal was to develop an affordable, customizable, and user-friendly AR presentation tool accessible to a wide range of professionals across various industries.
Process
Inspiration and Conceptualization
Recognizing the demand for engaging AR presentations, we aimed to democratize this technology by creating a tool that allows users to craft their own AR presentations without extensive technical skills.
Design and Development
Utilizing applications such as Sketch for the web portal UI, Maya for 3D UI elements, and Unity & Apple AR Kit for app development and 3D physics, we built a platform that enables users to create presentations using their content.
User Experience Focus
We emphasized ease of use, ensuring that if a user can create a PowerPoint presentation, they can use AfterNow Prez. We also made the presentations accessible on multiple devices, including advanced head-mounted devices like HoloLens and Magic Leap One, as well as iPhones and iPads.
Animation and Transition Features
We developed customizable animation and transition features that mimic natural language patterns, allowing users to easily understand and control the sequential order of animations within their presentations.
